🍸 On the Rocks (Deck 6)
Vibe: This is one of the most iconic bars on Virgin Voyages and often the heartbeat of evening entertainment. It’s located at the base of the roundabout staircase on Deck 6, and its open layout means there’s always energy flowing through.
It feels like a whiskey lounge, and it even doubles as a performance venue—sometimes featuring live music or even magic shows like the Charmer’s Lounge with a Happenings cast magician.
What Happens Here:
- Live music performances
- Happenings Cast shows (like the Charmer’s Lounge)
- Great spot for martinis or whiskey tastings
What to Order:
- Martinis (they’re advertised front and center)
- Custom-made cocktails
- A wide variety of whiskies (ranging in price and style)
- Sparkling wines, rosés, reds, and whites (Christine’s picks!)
You can also ask the bartenders to customize a cocktail just for you—drinks are made to order, so let them build something based on your flavor preferences.
🥂 SIP (Deck 7, Forward)
Vibe: My personal favorite. SIP is a posh champagne lounge that offers an elegant escape from the hustle and bustle of the ship. It’s located at the front of Deck 7, a very walkable area. The lounge is large and broken into smaller seating sections—whether you’re alone or in a group, you’ll find a spot that works for you.
What Happens Here:
- Live mellow music and jazz sets
- High Tea at Sea (on sea days only)
- Occasional solo performances or background instrumentals
- Excellent people-watching
What to Order:
- Champagne by the glass: Dom Pérignon, Moët, or Veuve Clicquot
- Cocktails made with champagne (like the $19 Moët cocktail)
- Caviar service (yes, really!)
- Cognacs, whiskey, and select beers

🌅 The Dock & The Dock House (Deck 7, Aft)
Vibe: Mediterranean coastal chic. This is where you go to relax. Located all the way at the back of Deck 7, the Dock (outdoor) and the Dock House (indoor) share the same menu but offer different atmospheres.
What Happens Here:
- Live Latin music (inside and outside)
- DJ sets during sail aways
- Scarlet Night chill zone for a less party-heavy vibe
- Tapas and small plates throughout the day
What to Order:
- Sangria (by the glass or carafe)
- Spritzers (a whole spritzer menu)
- Buckets of beer
- Half bottles of wine or bubbles
- Cold-pressed juices from Juiced & Sea
Seating includes shaded day beds, lounge chairs, and table areas—none of which need a reservation. It’s also a great place to read, catch sunset, or chill after a hot day in port.
⚓ Loose Cannon (Deck 7, Midship)
Vibe: Tucked away and totally underrated, Loose Cannon is Virgin’s version of a cheeky dive bar. It’s right near the arcade and the Social Club, which makes it easy to miss—but once you’re there, it’s a vibe.
What Happens Here:
- Events like the Rum Runners Club
- Group shots off the “octopus”
- Jukebox music
- Games and casual hangouts
What to Order:
- Scorpion bowls (large, shareable cocktails)
- Fun, fruity rum cocktails
- Shots, casual beers, and bar snacks
Also, there’s a guestbook that drunk sailors leave notes in. It’s silly. It’s hilarious. Definitely worth flipping through.

🍨 Social Club Bar (Deck 7, Midship)
Vibe: Nostalgic American diner meets soda shop. Think boozy floats, trivia nights, and a place to cool off with air conditioning.
What Happens Here:
- Trivia events
- Sports on TV
- Casual hangouts with wings and snacks
What to Order:
- Light beers
- Alcoholic or non-alcoholic floats
- Sorbet or ice cream base drinks
🍺 The Draught House (Deck 7, near Roundabout)
Vibe: Hidden in plain sight. This bar is next to the ice cream shop at the Roundabout and is perfect for beer lovers. It’s quiet, and it’s where you’ll find the exclusive Virgin + Ommegang beer collab.
What Happens Here:
- Beer tastings
- Seahorse races and artist events
- A relaxing spot away from the noise

Vibe: Sun-soaked rooftop bar with panoramic views, shaded day beds, and an energetic atmosphere. It’s also the home of the Pajama Party on night one of every sailing.
What Happens Here:
- Pajama Party kickoff

- Triple net lounging
- Soaking in one of the two hot tubs

- Half-bottles of wine or spirits
